Muthamil mandram was established in the year 1999. It is actively engaged in creative writing activities in both Tamil and English. All the students from the Department of Tamil and interested students from other departments are the members of the Muthamil mandram club.
The club is conducting competitions in Story writing, Essay writing, Verse writing, Drawing and Elocution, for the students. The prize winning articles are published every year in ‘MULLAI’, a publication of Muthamil mandram thereby it renders ample opportunities in writing and creating skills.
Muthamil mandram convenes competitions during the celebrations of Gandhi Jayanthi, Bharathiyar’s Birthday, Independence Day, Republic Day and Annual Muthamil mandram literary and poetry contest.
