The primary aim of the Art and Craft Club is to make some of the rural women around make self- reliant by exposing them to skill sets required to make art products. The target audience is both students of Arts College and interested women from villages around.
The programs conducted by the club are filled with fun all day long with plenty to creativity unleashed. Students are given ample opportunities to create and share their own art productions and designs. “Art from waste” – a unique event organized every year by this club finds several interesting art products from waste substances like fabric, vegetables and many more.
Mrs. M. LalithaLakshmi, Faculty of Commerce leads the club with a team of faculty and another set of student body.
Rev. Jacob Memorial Christian College (RJMCC) was founded in the year 1997-98 by late Padmabhushan. Dr. Jacob Cherian under the aegis of the Christian Education Health and Development Society (CEHD), at Amblikkai, Dindigul, Tamilnadu.
